How to use and edit IconsMania’s free icons and illustrations.

All IconsMania’s icons and illustrations are optimized to be edited and used by non-professionals, this means that you don’t need a professional design software like Photoshop or Illustrator to customize them.

All you need is access to free tools like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides. And to have access to these tools, you only need a Gmail or Outlook email address.

Google users

or jump to Microsoft users.

Then, when you find the icon set you like, click on the button that says “I’m a Google user”, it will open a preview in Google Slides, click on “Use template” to get a copy of it and start customizing it!

When you are done, you can copy and paste your edited icons in another Google Slides file or in a Google Drawings file.

Or modify your icons and save them as PNG images and use them in Google Forms, Sheets or Docs.

To accomplish this using Google Slides, go to File > Page Setup and change your slides size, for this example I used 512 x 512 px. Then go to Background, click on color, and select Transparent.

Now you can copy and paste your icon, you can still modify it, and when you are happy with the result, go to File > Download > And choose PNG image.

Now you can insert your clipart in Docs, Sheets, Google Forms or anywhere you like.

Keep in mind:

Click on a corner and hold shift while dragging to resize them proportionally. And to change their colors, double click the icon to access the layer you want to recolor.

Oh! And you can use “Tab” to move between layers!
